New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Vivint Smart Home, a leading provider of smart home technology, today announced a matching donation of $20,000 for the #FixTheFox benefit event featuring Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees. The concert will help fund the kidney transplant and recovery of Corey Fox, owner of Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo, Utah.
The #FixTheFox benefit event will take place Friday, April 29, 2016 at Velour Live Music Gallery and will feature intimate, acoustic performances from two of the most successful Velour alumni bands. Tickets for the sold-out show were available for a $300 cash contribution to the #FixTheFox fund. Fox is currently on a transplant waiting list in search of a living kidney donor.
"Corey is a staple of the Provo community," said Todd Pedersen, CEO of Vivint Smart Home. "Through Velour, he has been bringing people together for more than a decade, so it is inspiring to see the community rally around him at this difficult time. We are moved by the outpouring of support and are honored to be involved."
