All Roads Lead To WFAN For Connecticut School Of Broadcasting Westbury Graduate
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Making that call to Connecticut School of Broadcasting's Westbury, NY Campus was one of the best choices I've made in my life!"

As a child, Brian Rascona of New York, dreamed of sports, especially the Knicks. There wasn't a game that he missed. Along with following the athletes, Brian became a fan of the Knicks Announcer, Mike Walczewski. Brian enjoyed his unique style and would practice for hours, even memorizing the starting lineups so he could announce the players just like Walczewski. As he got older and became more of a fan of sports in the New York area, Brian found himself listening to WFAN Sports Radio anytime he could. He had no idea his passion for sports would eventually lead him into the career of his dreams.

"I was never a big fan of school or college, not that I wasn't bright, I just didn't particularly care for the whole college thing. So I went to work as carpenter for 5 years. One day as I was on a ladder in twenty degree temperatures, while I was of course listening to "Mike and The Mad Dog" on WFAN, I realized I do not want to do this anymore. Making that call to Connecticut School of Broadcasting's Westbury, NY Campus was one of the best choices I've made in my life!" Shortly after graduating from the night class, Rascona landed an internship with Sirius XM Radio in New York, working for Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez. While it wasn't sports, Brian says it was the stepping stone that led him to a series of internships that included The Davey Mac Sports show on Sirius XM and the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida where his boss Ann Ligouri just so happened to be the golf correspondent for WFAN. Let's just say the rest is history! Today you'll find Rascona working the board at this favorite radio station: WFAN. "I was overly excited to take the job and I am just as excited as the first day I started at Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Westbury. Their staff and instructors worked with me after graduating to find the right path that led me home to WFAN. I am eternally grateful."
