New York, NY (Top40 Charts) EMP Label Group & ALPHA OMEGA Management Roster Band DEAD BY WEDNESDAY has just released their new album, The Darkest Of Angels (on May 20th in Europe via David Ellefons (Megadeth) EMP Label Group and distributed by SPV).The band's drummer Opus sat down behind his drum kit and recorded a drum play through for their song "Live Again", featuring Brian Fair of Shadows Fall.

Comments Opus:
Anyone that knows me, knows that although I can be flashy at times, I'm not one of those drummers that likes to do drum solos or show off any of my skills. I'm more of "a less is more" type guy & a team player who likes to just be a solid working part of the bands engine & rhythm section. More like a groovy time keeper who throws in bits of finesse here & there to keep my drum parts original & memorable. Similar to how some of my inspirations played like Vinnie Paul, Bonham, Lombardo, Alex VH, Tommy Lee, etc., (with the exception of the great Stewart Copeland who I love & was always flashy, lol...) Anyway, I've wanted to do something like this for a while & now is the time! So.... Here is a pretty cool homegrown "drum play through" video my boy Gary Sandler from Sick Eye Entertainment shot for me for a new Dead By Wednesday song called "Live Again" (feat. Brian Fair of Shadows Fall on Vox), it's off our new album "The Darkest of Angels" which is out in stores & online NOW via the EMP Label Group!! Might not be super meticulously perfect being that it's literally the 1st one we've ever done together but it's damn close & I'm proud of it, so please check it out & let me know what you think. It's meant to show what I'm doing & how I'm playing the drum parts. Enjoy! :))

The Darkest Of Angels was produced by Nicholas T. Rage of Toxic Holocaust (Hatebreed, Kingdom of Sorrow, Jasta).

The album features 11 killer tracks with 11 heavyweight guest vocalists including: Brian Fair (Shadows Fall), Eric AK (Flotsam and Jetsam), John Arch (Fates Warning), Rob Dukes (Generation Kill, ex-Exodus), Carley Coma (Candiria), Waylon Reavis (ex-Mushroomhead), Sean Danielsen (Smile Empty Soul), Paul Stoddard (Diecast), Kris Keyes (formerly Gargantua Soul), Antony Hamalainen (Armageddon) and Ceschi Ramos (Fake Four Inc.).
