Singer/Songwriter Leyla To Release Album, Debut Single "Legion" This Fall
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Swiss recording artist Leyla has announced plans to release her debut album this fall in collaboration with Lynn Verlayne Studio, starting with powerful new single "Legion."
"Legion is about finding common ground as a global community. I wanted to share a message of unity and peace with the world, because I feel that we all need to stand together as we move forward to the future. We need hope."

Co-Written by writing superstars Aimee Proal (Kelly Clarkson, Haley Reinhart) and Lynn Verlayne (Parson James, Athena), "Legion" was recorded and written in collaboration with creative development and management studio Lynn Verlayne Studio, a long-time partner of BMG Fieldhouse, and legendary New York studio Dubway Studios (Reneé Fleming, Alicia Keys, Vampire Weekend).

Following the release of "Legion," Leyla will launch her full-length debut record touching on themes of courage, self-empowerment, spirituality, and positive thinking and action; all of which are facets of Leyla's first-hand experiences in America while writing the album.

"My time in America has taught me so much, I feel the album really reflects that. Standing up for unity, connecting with your neighbor for the common good, paying kindness forward to other human beings, and never giving up on your dreams; these are the values that I've learned here and want to share with the world.

"New York City especially is such a melting pot of cultures that all live alongside each other in peace. I think that the world needs to use that as an example of how to coexist.

"We might think we are all different, but we're all the same. I want my music to communicate that."
