Ffi - My Ship
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Company) The 2nd single taken from the highly anticipated debut album Never is the big production number My Ship - A Bondesque power ballad that would fit perfectly into any 007 franchise where Welsh-songstress FFI would sit snugly alongside her fellow countrywomen Shirley Bassey.

To celebrate the release, Ffi and her incredible band of musicians, will be performing at Londons Venue 229 on 28th September which promises to be a gig NOT TO BE MISSED! The debut album features a stellar cast of musicians like no other, with guys who have graced the stage and studio with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Elvis Costello, Paulo Nutini, Barbara Streisand , Robbie Williams, Jamiroquai, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles and Sir Tom Jones, to name but a few.

The first single Take It Or leave It has been gracing UK and international airwaves for the past couple of months proving to be a real DJ and listener favourite. Other tracks from the album have been picked up by Jazz stations across the globe showing Ffis diversity and popularity amongst serious music lovers.
Born in Cardiff and adopted at 3 months old, Ffi was introduced to the piano at the age of 5 by her mother. Quickly learning to play by ear, she began writing her first songs at a very early age. Realising her obvious natural gift, her parents enrolled her in formal lessons and she was classically trained on both the piano and violin. She then progressed on to the saxophone and then the drums at the age of 10.

Despite having all this talent, Ffi was still essentially a grounded welsh tomboy. Wanting to find her voice she sang in chapel and at school, only to be told to sing quieter because her vice was so loud and deep! Thankfully, this never put her off and she took to singing just like all the other instruments presented to her.

At 14, she got a part on a Welsh TV drama and pursued a successful acting career appearing in a variety of dramas on TV and stage before progressing on to national and beyond. Her screen CV boasts playing the daughter of the late, great Philip Madoc in the hugely popular A Mind To Kill, along with roles in Doctors and Torchwood.

Whilst being an actress, she continued to study her first love, music and went to Goldsmiths College, University of London, and it was there that she started to work and perform with some of the biggest names in the business.
