MELBOURNE, Australia (SONY MUSIC Australia) - Casey, Guy, Killing Heidi and Alex Lloyd are just a few of Oz's biggest musical stars banding together this Saturday, January 8 at the Sydney Opera House for a live concert to raise much-needed funds for victims of the Asian tsunami. Please dig deep!
Set to be one of the biggest fund-raising events in Australian history, the biggest stars of the Oz entertainment world are set to rally together for a one-off live concert this Saturday night on the steps of the Sydney Opera House, to raise desperately needed funds for World Vision to supply aid to the millions of victims devestated by the earthquake and tsunami that hit Asia on Boxing Day.

Co-presented by Channels Seven, Nine and Ten and, in an Australian first, broadcast on TV simulataneously on all three networks as well as Triple M radio, the Reach Out To Asia Concert will feature performances from an Oz all-star line-up including Casey Donovan, Guy Sebastian, Killing Heidi, Alex Lloyd, Anthony Callea, Spiderbait, The Dissociatives, Kasey Chambers, The Whitlams, Noiseworks (reuniting especially for the event), Eskimo Joe and Scribe plus a bonafide supergroup made up of members of Jet, Spiderbait, The Living End and You Am I, in an unmissable two and a half hour show.
"To be given the opportunity to be able to give with my heart to the victims and families of the victims, and to the incredible efforts of the support and relief organisations, truly is an honour," said Alex Lloyd on his official website.
"It's the least we can do," added Killing Heidi's Ella Hooper.

Hosted by Seven personalities David Koch, Melissa Doyle and Larry Emdur, the Sydney concert will also be run in conjunction with a live telethon from Melbourne's Telstra Dome, hosted by Rove Mc Manus, Eddie McQuire and Andrew O'Keefe, featuring stars from The Panel, Home and Away, Neighbours, Blue Heelers, Backyard Blitz and McLeod's Daughters and plenty more.
"Obviously there's a great sadness behind the reason for this event but hopefully it'll be a lot of fun on the night as well," said Rove.

All proceeds from the 4,000 ticket sales for the Sydney concert - each costing $25 - plus donations collected on the night will be go straight to World Vision's national Tsunami Relief Appeal.
Ticketing outlet Ticketmaster 7 will also donate their standard booking fee for all tickets sold to World Vision.
Get your ready to rock Australia and please dig deep for our global neighbours in need on Saturday night.
