APA Names Kerri Fox-Metoyer VP Of Music Strategy & Partnerships
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) APA has named Kerri Fox-Metoyer Vice President of Music Strategy & Partnerships, it was announced today by Steve Lassiter, Partner and Head of Concerts for APA Nashville, and to whom she reports. Fox-Metoyer, who will be based out of APA Nashville's new penthouse offices at One Nashville Place, will spearhead the agency's brand partnership initiatives and strategic campaigns for the agency's entire music roster.

"I'm thrilled to have Kerri join our APA family," commented Lassiter in making the announcement. "Her knowledge, expertise and success in strategic partnerships will provide a great asset to our growing operations."

Prior to joining APA, Fox-Metoyer served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Sony Electronics, where she helped expand the cross-corporate synergy within the Sony portfolio with talent and athletes such as Joseph Gordon Levitt, will.i.am, and world champion tri-athlete Lesley Paterson. She also played a key role in the U.S. launch of 4K Television with partners that included Taylor Swift, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, American Film Institute and Sony Pictures/Television. Before joining Sony, she was Vice President of Sales at Sony Music Nashville, where she oversaw the company's traditional and digital business development.

Prior to Sony, Fox-Metoyer was Vice President of Sales at Walt Disney Records, where she worked on the label's strategy for blockbuster franchises such as High School Musical and Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus with brand partners such as Subway, Proctor & Gamble and Unilever, to name a few.

Fox-Metoyer began her career in 1991 with EMI Music in Los Angeles, working as a Field Marketing Representative on local marketing campaigns for a diverse roster of acts such as Beastie Boys, Garth Brooks and Lenny Kravitz early in their respective careers. She is a mentor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and sits on several advisory boards in the tech start-up space. She is a member of the Music Business Association, the Country Music Association, and the Academy of Country Music.
