Keyframe-Entertainment Wraps Up 2016 Year With Reinhabiting The Village Book Success, Music Releases And Sustainable Community Projects
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Keyframe-Entertainment is a specialized branding and strategy firm, which focuses on helping artists, music producers, DJs, festivals and companies succeed.
Keyframe-Entertainment saw a range of accomplishments in 2016; among them the July 2016 "ReInhabiting the Village" book distribution partnership with Robert D. Reed Publishers.

"ReInhabiting the Village: CoCreating our Future" is a multi-media book and online community hub project co-created by an alliance of visionary partners contributing knowledge to foster thriving projects, organizations, and communities. "ReInhabiting the Village" is a 352-page graphically rich, full color, soft cover book showcasing the work of 12 Visionary Artists and over 60 Contributing Authors. Featuring "Voices from the Village," the book shares their experience, best practices, strategies and resources to empower communities through practical wisdom and inspiring perspectives. Chapter topics include: Heart of Community, Health and Healing, Art and Culture, Learning and Education, Regional Resilience, Inhabiting the Urban Village, Community Land Projects, Holistic Event Production, Living Economy, Media & Storytelling, Appropriate Technology, and Whole Systems Design; themes in alignment with Barbara Marx Hubbard's wheel of co-creation. Featured authors include pioneer Coyote Alberto Ruz Buenfil, David Sugalski aka The Polish Ambassador, and includes a sample article by Charles Eisenstein.

The book promo video was also launched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmM1YYW6G-E.
Keyframe-Entertainment and Jamaica Stevens also launched a global community ambassadorship program as a way to build community and make the book available worldwide. The program has been steadily growing since its October inception; which currently lists community ambassadors in ten US states, in addition to Canada, Australia, Guatemala and Mexico. The Community Ambassador program allows for book purchase at discounted price, ReInhabiting the Village brand representation, and media partnership. It was also an eventful year for Keyframe partners the Permaculture Action Network, which officially launched as an organization this year. In April, their crowdfunding campaign successfully raised $16,982 to bring Permaculture Action Days to Rising Appalachia's shows. This success was based on their 2015 work, during which the Permaculture Action Network put on more than 45 Permaculture Action Days in major cities in the US, including some in Central America and British Columbia. Their work has successfully brought thousands of people to participate in one day events at urban farms, community gardens, parks and schools to create ecological common spaces.

The Permaculture Action Network empowers people to take action that builds a regenerative and just world by connecting educators, artists, and organizers with broad and diverse audiences while pushing community and sustainability to the center of society's cultural narrative. Visit their website at: https://www.permacultureaction.org/.

Keyframe is also a partner of Protectors Alliance, a unified platform and partnership effort of aligned organizations, skilled workers, producers and individuals from the global Transformational festival community. Protectors Alliance works to support frontline environmental crisis and social justice conflicts such as the Dakota Access Pipeline, currently trending with hashtag #noDAPL. They gather accurate information about the needs of an action, manage a database and resource bank of its community's assets, deploy and distribute resources effectively with a focus on "village building." A GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign has launched to raise funds to complete construction of compost toilets and facilities for the Oceti Sakowin camp at Standing Rock. Organizations that are part of this alliance include Burners Without Borders, Patricia Arquette's GiveLove Project, Burning Man, Do LaB Inc, Lucidity Festivals, Uplift Connect, Keyframe-Entertainment, ReInhabiting the Village, Take Root Productions and others. Keyframe-Entertainment also organized the IAMEVE "Starman" Temple Bass remix by DISSØLV and Mixwell, and the Drum&Bass Dandy Ryder remix. IAMEVE blends a mix of sacred geometry and surrealism in a kaleidoscope of fantastical inspiration sparked by Geiger, Bowie, Kate Bush, and Lewis Carroll, to name a few. The official video to "Starman" features two soul mates who are reunited in a multi-dimensional plane of existence. View the video on the website: https://iameveami.com/.

San Francisco-based DISSØLV is a live sonic journey through the primal and sacred ritual of dance; seeded with Sacred Tuning Systems & Nature Soundscapes, and Conceived with Deep Bass & Tribal Drum. Mixwell is a Montreal-born producer and songwriter, based in Guatemala. Although deeply rooted in soul and hip hop, Mixwell's productions span across many genres, and through the passion for Afro-Latin music he developed through his travels, he incorporates the sounds of Belize, Colombia, Brazil and others into Bass-driven Electronica. The DISSØLV and Mixwell "Starman" remix is available on Amazon.

Dandy Ryder consists of duo Derek Ryan and Andy Schneider. Derek Ryan is a San Francisco-based music producer, composer, songwriter, and DJ, dedicated to bringing quality melodic electronic dance music (EDM). Andy Schneider's simply a self-empowered devotee of the gone-but-not-forgotten sound that captured his robot heart long ago: late century Boxed and Northern Exposed progressive house. The Dandy Ryder "Starman" remix is available on Amazon.

In 2017, Keyframe will continue to support partner Lucidity Festival, who just raised funds for its Lucid University project at Trillium. Lucid University will provide an affordable and accessible alternative education model to a new generation, growing on the heritage of centers such as Esalen in Big Sur, California. The year-round village will be located on a historic 80-acre homestead in Southern Oregon. The land, nestled in the lush Siskiyou Mountains, will house communal facilities, nature preserve and wildlife sanctuary, education center, gardens, and a hands-on collaborative coworking/makerspace. The annual music and arts festival will continue to be held in Southern California. Lucidity is also a "ReInhabiting the Village" Sponsor and features writing by festival co-founder Jonah Haas.

Keyframe will also help coordinate "The American Jungle" film screening campaign in 2017. This music documentary studies the roots of Drum & Bass and Jungle, as well as their influences on Electronic Music in North America. The film is directed by Joshua "Phenetic" Freeman and Jeremy "Onket" Ballard, both of whom are well-respected DJ's in the Drum & Bass genre. "The American Jungle" will explore the past 20 years of Drum & Bass music, its present and future, featuring artists such as DJ Hype, Dieselboy, Aphrodite, DB & Dara, Andy C, AK1200, and many more. Keyframe-Entertainment is supporting the film as Associate Producer.

"After many years working in Film, Music, Books, Marketing, Social Media, and strategy, we've determined that our primary reason for existing as a company is to help creative people achieve success," says Keyframe-Entertainment CEO Julian Reyes.
