Appalachian Mountain Brewery will host its third annual
Daniel Boone Rail Jam, a unique live music and ski and snowboard competition, on January 21, 2017. This year's event will be held for the first time at
Daniel Boone Park and Amphitheater in downtown Boone, featuring a new larger ramp, heated viewing areas and food concessions from local restaurants. Home to the historic outdoor drama, "Horn in the West," the Amphitheater has been an important part of Boone's history since the 1950s.
To celebrate this year's first Rail Jam at
Daniel Boone Park, Appalachian Mountain Brewery is excited to unite its We Can So You Can nonprofit foundation with the Town of Boone and will dedicate proceeds from the event to support the revitalization of the Amphitheater. A number of local businesses have also leant a helping hand, including Mast General Store, Salomon, SkyLine SkyBest, Appalachian Ski Mountain, VPC Builders, Makoto's, IonCon, Print Path, and many more.
Attendees will also get an exclusive first taste of AMB's new spring seasonal Aho Amber, an amber ale that combines malty sweetness with a subtle west coast hoppy bite. Also available will be cans of AMB favorites, including Long Leaf IPA, Boone Creek Blonde, Porter, and Spoaty Oaty Pale Ale, and Porter.
