SpringFest 2017: All Saints, Reverend And The Makers, Sister Sledge, Phil Rudd, Echo And The Arcadia
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Edinburgh is set to welcome what will be one of the most exciting music festivals in Scotland for 2017.
SpringFest, an indoor festival with numerous covered outdoor areas, takes place on the bank holiday weekend of 27th and 28th May 2017 at the city's Corn Exchange.

SpringFest is headlined by the multi-platinum selling All Saints. The girls, who are also touring with Take That, are set to close the festival on Sunday Evening. Other confirmed artists include the legendary Sister Sledge who are flying in from the States especially to perform at the festival, where they will treat the crowds to their smash hits which include 'We Are Family', 'Frankie', 'He's The Greatest Dancer' and many more.

Also appearing is the bad boy of stadium rock, AC/DC legend Phil Rudd along with his band from New Zealand. Phil, one of the original members of AC/DC and an inductee of the iconic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will be playing tracks from his critically acclaimed solo album 'Head Job'.

Joining the eclectic mix of talent are US band Wheatus who will perform their worldwide smash hit 'Teenage Dirtbag', Sheffield's finest Reverend & The Makers (Heavyweight Champion of The World), world renowned DJ Sammy, famed for his classic hits 'Heaven' and 'Boys Of The Summer', the Ibiza based Hed Kandi DJ Phoebe D'Abo and X factor runner up Janet Devlin whose YouTube hits currently stand at a massive fifty million.

Emerging talent will also be given a platform, expect to see the likes of London based We Used To Make Things, up and coming German artist Lia Rox and rising stars of the Rock scene, Corvus.

Current chart artists will be joining the line up, expect more announcements over the next few weeks.

In addition to the main stage, SpringFest boasts three other stages. The Frequency Arena, dedicated to emerging talent, the Electronic Forest for Dance & Slam, and the Acoustic Box.

The festival will have ten zones:

The Outdoor Chill Out Zone gives festival goers the opportunity to catch some rays on the grass and enjoy the carnival atmosphere created by circus performers and face painters

The Beer Garden is a chill out area soundtracked by laid back Ibiza style beats

Burlesque Wonderland offers a plethora of Burlesque and alternative performances to dazzle and delight

Concourse Stalls is a pop- up market selling a variety festival essentials and luxuries

Purple Zone offers a unique festival experience dedicated to Prince and Jimi Hendrix

Orange Zone for Acoustic performances

Turquoise Zone is an outdoor chill out area

Frequency Arena is the SpringFest's second stage, showcasing exciting emerging talent

Portal Zone takes festival goers from the Concourse to Burlesque Wonderland

Cinema Zone features new short films from local directors mixed with cult famous movies and speeches from icons like Martin Luther King

The weekend promises two days of solid partying for a wide ranging audience.

Catering options are diverse, from a New York Style Deli counter to Chinese food and a wide range of options for vegetarians and vegans.

Spokesperson for SpringFest Simon Britton, CEO of Wave365 Media says:
"With the brief hiatus of T In The Park this year, Edinburgh was missing festival options. SpringFest will offer something totally unique and completely new. The Corn Exchange in Edinburgh is right in the heart of the city centre with convenient and easy travel links and hotel options. SpringFest will bring a truly unique and very special festival experience to a Edinburgh's beautiful and historic city centre."

Capitalising on Edinburgh as an ideal weekend break destination and without any risk of inclement weather spoiling the indoor festival's fun, the demand for SpringFest tickets will be high and organisers are expecting a sell out event.

Day tickets are £55 and weekend tickets are £95
