Country Girl Alyssa Micaela Mixes Sass With Grit On New EP "Cowboys Like That"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country music's rising starlet Alyssa Micaela delivers her debut EP "Cowboys Like That" on March 10, 2017. Piggy backing on her streaming hit "Getaway Car" the girl who has recently opened for country greats Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Aaron Watson, and Eli Young Band shares music inspired by Texas cowboys and Nashville honky tonks.

"Alyssa Micaela is a star," said Liz Rose, President of Liz Rose Music, with whom Alyssa is signed. "There is no doubt about her commitment to a unique style that celebrates country music and relates to today's strong young woman."

The EP features a moving ballad, "Cowboys Like That," a tribute to her grandfather and the old school cowboy. The words linger in your mind long after the song is done, "Just like fine wine and leather, he only gets better."

The upbeat "Getaway Car," "Highlights," and "Clean Break" remind us that female country music has come a long way. "Getaway Car" was a runaway hit this past summer after its release, streaming more than three million times on Spotify. Spotify has been an early advocate for Micaela and has added the song "Clean Break" to their top country playlists immediately.

Last year, Alyssa signed with Warner/Chappell Nashville.
"We are so excited to see Alyssa's new music coming out and know that her fans will enjoy watching the growth of this dynamic new artist," said Ben Vaughn, President of Warner/Chappell Nashville.
Alyssa hails from Odessa, Texas where her country roots were born. Her love for the deep south has also inspired her style in music, fashion, and culture. Alyssa's new EP is available for download on iTunes, Amazon and wherever music is sold.
