The Hutton Brickyards Second Season Starts With Bob Dylan And The Return Of Smorgasburg
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / M West Holdings) On Monday March 20th, MWest Holdings, together with Bardavon Presents, announced the kick-off concert event of the year at the historic Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, New York. Bob Dylan and His Band will perform at 8PM on Saturday June 24 and will be the first main stage artists to perform in the new 3500 capacity riverfront venue. This will be Dylan's only stop in the region. Tickets go on sale to the public through Ticketmaster on Saturday March 25th at 11AM. Bardavon members get first dibs per usual. Visit bardavon.org for more details.

"We couldn't be happier that a legend like Dylan will be kicking off our 2017 season!" says MWest president, Karl Slovin. "This is what one will come to expect at the Hutton Brickyards: worldclass entertainment from our friends at the Bardavon, incredible curated cuisine from groups like Smorgasburg, and frankly, we're just getting started!"

Earlier in the year, on May 20th and 21st, MWest will also welcome the return of Smorgasburg, the food festival and curated flea market which operates in multiple locations in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and now MWest's own Hutton Brickyards. From May to October, Smorgasburg will be in residence for an entire weekend each month offering dozens of unique food items from some of the best chefs in the region, as well as locally-made craft beverages, desserts, music, family activities and over an acre of antiques, vintages curiosities and regional products.

"With its amazing food and flea vendors, Smorgasburg was the perfect way to introduce our long-forgotten property to the public after we had worked so tirelessly on the initial year of renovation." says Slovin. "We were absolutely thrilled by the response to the first season of Smorgasburg at the Hutton Brickyards, and believe the second season will only build on the initial momentum as people discover this amazing site on the Hudson River."

Along with Smorgasburg's monthly weekends and the Dylan concert on June 24, the Hutton Brickyards will host many other exciting events designed to complement the facility's unique setting and enhance the entertainment opportunities in the region. "With the Brickyards, we are custodians of the past, and stewards of the future - and the future at the Hutton Brickyards is going to be a lot of fun - and quite special," says Slovin. "The 2017 season is still rapidly evolving as we continue working with the city of Kingston. We're very excited to welcome everyone back to enjoy great food, drink and now music on the Hudson River."

Kingston Mayor Steve Noble has been working with MWest since he first took office in 2016:
"It's been great to work with Slovin and his team at the Hutton Brickyards. His vision for the future of the property is a perfect expression of the creative, artistic, maker, and designer culture that Kingston is becoming known for. This is an incredible opportunity for Kingston, not only because of the site's history and expansive one-of-a-kind views of the Hudson River, but also because the efforts of MWest Holdings to preserve and repurpose the remaining structures so that they can host unique events like Smorgasburg and this incredible Bob Dylan concert. I look forward to continuing to work with the team as they proceed with more and more exciting endeavors at the Hutton Brickyards this year."

Slovin concludes: "The Hutton Brickyards is currently building relationships with the top wedding and event production companies from across the North East while also developing a stable of the best Hudson Valley providers of farm-to-table catering, local craft beverages and event production services. Events at the Hutton Brickyards will be a unique combination of world-class entertainment and production that is steeped in the history of the property."

Smorgasburg at the Hutton Brickyards has no entrance fee and occurs one Saturday and Sunday per month. Currently the dates are May 20-21, June 17-18, July 15-16, August 19-20, September 16-17, and October 21-22.
