LeToya Luckett Premieres 'Used To' Video
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) LeToya Luckett is back for more, with the release of "Used To," the second part of her new music video series, which she first shared in January with her comeback song, "Back 2 Life." Following "Back 2 Life's" heartbreak, the former Destiny's Child songstress finds herself on a blind date with a talkative man, reflecting on her last relationship. A chance encounter with her ex, played by Thomas Q. Jones, brings these feelings back up even more.
"I've been miserable without you," he tells her. "I don't know what else to do. I've called you repeatedly. You won't answer my phone calls. I love you. I miss you. I need you. Everything I said, I was wrong. I apologize."

Unconvinced, LeToya goes to a party where she runs into the woman who helped ruin her relationship. Plus, her ex happens to be there too. That's when "Used To" kicks off with a fierce performance from Luckett in a staircase. "I know how she moving," she sings. "We ain't the same."
As the track continues, with its pulsating Caribbean-inspired beat, LeToya realizes that a reconciliation could be in the cards after all. "I put you up on new," she sings. "Not what you're used to / It's what you need now / You keep looking, but they not me though." Perhaps wanting a reunion with her ex, LeToya ends the video by turning down a potential suitor. "No, no, no," she tells him. "We're good." The clip closes with another "To Be Continued..." marker.

The singer-turned-actress calls "Used To" one of her "favorite records" because of its confident "in-your-face" lyrics. "There's nothing more attractive than a woman who's humble, but knows what she can bring to the table." she explained. "I wanted the video to possess that same quality. It shows the 'bounce back' from the disappointment of a relationship gone wrong, but it also showcases the vulnerability of a woman who allowed herself to love."
Back 2 Life, LeToya's first full-length album since 2009's Lady Love, is due May 12 and features a collaboration with Ludacris.
