Vizio Expands Crave Audio Collection With Addition Of Vizio Smartcast Crave Go Multi-Room Wireless Speaker

Vizio Expands Crave Audio Collection With Addition Of Vizio Smartcast Crave Go Multi-Room Wireless Speaker

New York, NY (Top40 Charts / VIZIO, Inc.) VIZIO, Inc., America's #1 sound bar company1, announced today its latest installment in the VIZIO SmartCast Crave speaker collection - the VIZIO SmartCast Crave Go Multi-Room Wireless Speaker. Emitting dynamic audio, Crave Go provides a best-in-class audio experience and ultimate versatility for those looking to enjoy their personal soundtrack at home or on-the-go. With Chromecast built-in, consumers can easily stream music from popular Chromecast-enabled audio apps they already know and love like iHeartRadio, Google Play Music, Pandora, Spotify and more2. As part of the VIZIO SmartCast collection, Crave Go allows users to connect multiple Chromecast-enabled audio devices over WiFi. The Crave Go, like all products in the VIZIO SmartCast collection, can be conveniently controlled by VIZIO SmartCast Mobile3,, an app that transforms a user's iOS or Android™ mobile device into a powerful touchscreen remote. The VIZIO SmartCast Crave Go is now available at VIZIO.com for an MSRP of $199.99.

With its built-in rechargeable battery offering up to six hours of battery life4, the VIZIO SmartCast Crave Go Multi-Room Wireless Speaker is the perfect portable companion for on-the-go listening. The new form factor features a sleek metal speaker grill, rubberized back for an enhanced grip and built-in folding kickstand. The Crave Go includes custom-crafted drivers that produce crystal-clear sound up to 88dB with impressive bass as low as 75Hz5. That dynamic audio is preserved by WiFi streaming which produces higher sound quality when compared to Bluetooth® connectivity, and allows users to control their audio over a greater range. Plus, WiFi streaming won't drain mobile device batteries or allow interruptions from texts, calls or notifications when streaming6. Users with multiple VIZIO SmartCast speakers or sound bars can even enjoy the same song in unison, or play different songs in different rooms, thanks to multi-room streaming over WiFi7. All users have to do is simply pair their Crave Go with the other VIZIO SmartCast speakers or sound bars connected to the home WiFi network.

"The new Crave Go is the perfect solution for listeners looking for a speaker to complement their on-the-go lifestyles," said Matt McRae, Chief Technology Officer, VIZIO. "Highly versatile and capable of great audio performance, the Crave Go allows consumers to stream their favorite music, podcasts and radio stations at any moment and in any setting - ensuring they'll never miss an opportunity to enhance an activity or gathering with high-quality sound."

With Chromecast built-in, Crave Go consumers can easily stream millions of songs from music apps they already know and love. Just tap the Cast button to stream music directly over WiFi to any VIZIO SmartCast speaker from anywhere in the home. Unlike other multi-room speakers that use proprietary software, VIZIO SmartCast speakers make streaming simple with Chromecast. Consumers can simply stream from music apps already housed on their mobile devices.

As with all members of the VIZIO SmartCast family, Crave Go can be controlled by VIZIO SmartCast Mobile, a free app that transforms the user's smartphone into a fully functioning remote. In addition to allowing users to control their speakers from anywhere in the home, VIZIO SmartCast Mobile lets listeners discover content and then play, pause, adjust volume and control settings for their Crave Go with ease.

The VIZIO SmartCast Crave Go, along with sound bars and other Crave speakers, is compatible with the Google Assistant on devices like Google Home, allowing users to play, pause, or turn up the volume using voice commands so they don't have to lift a finger.
