Low Cut Connie Share New Song "Dirty Water" From New Album 'Dirty Pictures (Part 1)' Out 5/19
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Next Friday, May 19, Low Cut Connie will return with Dirty Pictures (Part 1) available worldwide via Contender Records. The album was recorded on analog tape at the legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN and is now available for pre-order.

Today, the band released "Dirty Water," the third single to be released from the forthcoming album. The song premiered at Glide Magazine, who said, "Their Jerry Lee Lewis meets Chuck Berry with a healthy dash of Springsteen and bar band sleaze is the kind of stuff few bands even attempt now, perhaps because it isn't 'hip' or because putting on a fiery rock and roll show takes bravado and energy. This was the kind of music that makes you forget about how fucked up the world is and simply enjoy the moment."

Recently, Consequence of Sound premiered the band's tribute to their hero Prince Rogers Nelson, a cover of "Controversy" that appears on the album, and said, "It's no easy feat covering someone like Prince, but you can tell Low Cut Connie are enjoying honoring the fallen icon with their version, and that makes it all the more fun to listen to."

Recently, Low Cut Connie released the first single off the album "Revolution Rock n Roll." Rolling Stone featured the song in their Playlist, saying "If the New York Dolls had done a session with Jerry Lee Lewis, it'd sound a lot like the Philadelphia rockers' new one - a political anthem drunkenly teetering on platform heels." The song is currently in the top 75 on the FMQB non-commercial radio chart.

The band recently wrapped up a run of more than 8 shows at SXSW 2017 and have announced a massive US Tour. Rolling Stone's David Fricke named the band one of his favorites of 2017 and called them "...a roaring quintet that sounds as loud and full as the early E Street Band, are absolutely contemporary in their drive to old-school joy."

Low Cut Connis is Adam Weiner (piano, lead vocals), James Everhart (lead guitar), Will Donnelly (rhythm guitar), Larry Scotton (drums), and Lucas Rinz (bass).

The band, who have for the past 5 years schlepped a 400 pound piano named Shondra around the country, was recently called "the essence of what rock n roll should be" by Greg Kot and the New York Times has said "their live show is a phenomenon." In 2015, President Barack Obama chose their anthem of low-brow American life "Boozophilia" for his Spotify Playlist and met with Weiner at the White House in 2016.

The band has recently announced a nationwide tour in support of the forthcoming album. Find a full list of tour dates below.
