Billboard Music Awards Winners 2017 (Complete List)

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Drake was the big winner of the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, breaking Adele's record for the most awards in a year. In fact, the rapper took home 13 awards, making him the artist with the most in a single year - beating Adele's record of 12.
The Canadian rap artist went into Sunday night's broadcast on ABC having already won 10 awards. Early in the night, he took home the award for Top Male Artist. That was soon followed by Top 200 Billboard Album. He broke Adele's record with the final award of the night, Top Artist.

Drake was both feeling the love and passing it on. "We've got to show love while we're here," he said accepting the award for Top 200 album, before going on to compliment co-host Vanessa Hudgens, bury the hatchet with Ludacris and tell Nicki Minaj, "I'm so glad we found our way back." He also gave a shout out to his dad, who wore a purple suit and shoes for the occasion.

The rap star received a total of 22 nominations this year, just behind the Chainsmokers, who led the nominations with a total of 23. The Chainsmokers took home the first award of the night.
