Vitamin String Quartet Turns The Hits Of 2017 Inside-Out

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ), a music series dedicated to reimagining popular songs on classical instruments, has explored the work of many of the world's most celebrated artists, from Lady Gaga to Adele to David Bowie and many more. On July 14th, the virtuosic series takes on this year's most popular songs to date, with the release of 'VSQ Performs the Hits of 2017'. The 8-song set will feature international chart-topping hits from Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Imagine Dragons and more.

VSQ, not a quartet in the traditional sense, is a series of string projects developed and produced by CMH Label Group, an independent record company based in Los Angeles. The CMH team works with an ever-evolving cast of string players, arrangers, and other creatives to bring each project to life. The series features over 300 albums, honoring artists such as Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Sigur Ros, Daft Punk, Weezer, Muse and many more.

Since its inception in 1999, VSQ has amassed 3.8 million downloads, over 1 million CDs sold and over 250 million streams, garnering multiple Billboard chartings along the way, including a chart debut for their last release 'VSQ Performs Kanye West'. The series has grown to include signature sheet music, video and instructional content, TV appearances, and exclusive live performances. VSQ was recently featured on the popular HBO series Westworld with hits renditions of Nine Inch Nails' "Something I Can Never Have" and Radiohead's "Motion Picture Soundtrack".

Buzzfeed said their uncanny string arrangements "transform your favorite pop songs into works of art".

Already in 2017 VSQ has released 'VSQ Performs The Weeknd' and 'VSQ Performs Kanye West', putting their own spin on the dark and sensuous hits of the R&B and rap icons.
