A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Fabolous Challenge DJ Khaled's 'Wild Thoughts' With Witty 'Wild Thots' Remix
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Fabolous responded to DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts," featuring Rihanna, on Monday (July 10) with a tongue-in-cheek remix, making the lyrics coarser - although admittedly funnier as well. After teaming up on "My Shit (Remix)" last year, the New York duo remixes the Khaled original, which features Rihanna and Bryson Tiller.

Artist kicks things off with a prayer and a reference to the Wu-Tang Clan. "Prayed when I decided I'ma go my own way," he raps. "She all on my body and she hopin' I stay / I guess that's what happens when you run into the C.R.E.A.M. / Cash rules everything around me."

As usual, Loso comes through with his topical bars, rhyming about Carmelo Anthony, the swirling trade talks, and the New England Patriots' Super Bowl win. "The sun is gon' shine even through the shady," he raps. "Just 'cause I play it mellow, don't think you can trade me / You can't buy class, I bought a new Mercedes / Came back on them birds, I'm the new Tom Brady."

Khaled's "Wild Thoughts," which samples Carlos Santana's "Maria Maria," is currently No. 3 on the Hot 100. The remix arrives shortly after A Boogie made the XXL Freshman cover and while his Kodak Black-assisted single "Drowning" sits at No. 39 on the Hot 100. Meanwhile, Fab is coming off collaborations with PnB Rock and The-Dream.
Released on Monday, the song has already racked up over 100,000 views on YouTube. Listen to "Wild Thots" below:
