New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Reggae's first international global superstar, Jimmy Cliff delivers dancehall euphoria with his new video from his single "Life" debuted on Billboard. The song is from his upcoming 2017 winter release album SOMERTON, named after a district in Jamaica where he was born and raised. The song, released on the Zojak World Wide imprint and written by Dr. Jimmy Cliff, was produced by Steven "Lenky" Marsden.

"The lyrics and uplifting nature in the video mirror how I see the world," says Cliff. "It's all about living in the present, the here and now, and acknowledging precious time here on earth."

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy award winning singer has spread his artistry globally across many oceans, rivers and cultures, with mainstream notability from his widely recognized musical masterpiece "Many Rivers To Cross." The timeless classic earned Cliff a number 325 placement on Rolling Stone's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time." Today, at 69, he embraces life through childlike eyes, focusing on the beautiful moments, many blessings and celebrations that life freely provides.

Cliff has collaborated and/or toured with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Kool & The Gang, Sting, Annie Lenox and The Rolling Stones. He has performed at endless international festivals across the globe and has shared the stage with talented musicians from every genre imaginable.

Today, Dr. Jimmy Cliff remains the only living musician to be granted by the Jamaican government for achievements in the arts and sciences, the Order of Merit. He is one of the most influential musicians to ever come out of Jamaica, still writing and producing current music and continued dance vibes to enjoy for many generations to come.

The Kingston, Jamaica setting of the four minute, ten second video was produced by Zojak World Wide and directed by Mike Abela. Expect to hear more singles being released in the next few months leading into his winter SOMERTON album release, which has a production by Othneil "Ottey" Lewis and a number of productions by producer, Clive Hunt.
