New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Why Won't You Let Me Love You" is the forthcoming release from award winning, Welsh songwriters, Darren Parry and Gavin Clifton (Clifton
Music). The song is an upbeat but reflective, anthemic, catchy, Electro - Pop/RnB tune that is so infectious, one listen and you can immediately
sing the chorus back to yourself! Two listens… you'll be singing it all day!

The track features Darren on lead vocals/backing vocals/keyboards and Al Steele of Shabbey Road Studios on all other instruments/backing vox.
Produced at Shabbey Road by Darren, Gavin and Al Steele the song is perfectly in keeping with the current contemporary Electro - Pop/RnB scene
and would not be out of place on a Bruno Mars, Calum Scott or Olly Murs record. The song is laden with hooks (and hooks within hooks) perfectly
displayed in the chorus which uses modern techniques to give impact to the vocals on Darren's dynamic 3 and a half octave vocal range! The middle 8 could be mistaken for a Max Martin production with Katy Perry -esque "Chained To The Rhythm" low pass filters giving a modern twist to a breakdown section.

Darren and Gavin have been aware of each other for some time on the South Wales songwriting scene and met a few times at the recording studio before deciding to work together on this track. The track was written remarkably in one song-writing session of only about an hour. More remarkable is that Gavin was born with a condition called cerebral palsy, and also has a speech impediment. Gavin however never lets his condition stop him from writing great music and he's even started a record company…Clifton Music!

About the writers:
Darren was the 2004 UK Songwriting Champion (Pop - "Reality"), beating 6000 entries from around the world and signing a Publishing deal with
Scamp Music for the track. He was the 2014/2016 USA Song Of The Year 'runner up' and has achieved awards from Billboard and Unisong, among
others. He has performed with house-hold names, sang at some of the world's most prestigious venues and toured the globe; including 40 of the

Schofield and Anne Robinson), BBC 2's "Let Me Entertain You" (with Brian Conley), BBC2's "Identity" (with Donny Osmond), BBC "Music Under The
Stars" (with Bryn Terfel and Michael Ball), "Cuppa TV" (breakfast show). Other performances include an ITV Christmas Special production from
Cardiff Castle, BBC/S4C broadcasts of Welsh Rugby matches (singing on the Millennium Stadium pitch in front of 70,000 fans) and various appearances on Welsh BBC/ITV news bulletins.

Darren has performed with/shared the bill with amongst others...Michael Ball, Bryn Terfel, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Scouting for Girls, Steve
Balsamo, The Story's, Simon Bowman, The Sweet Inspirations (Elvis' female backing singers), D.J. Fontana (Elvis' original drummer), Chris Needs
(MBE), John Barrowman, Peter Karrie, Dave Sharp (The Alarm) and Henry Priestman (The Christians).

Darren (Feb 2013) lent his vocals to a charity single called "A Miner's Song" (written by his friends Dan & Laura Curtis) to help raise money for
the Welsh Miners Memorial Fund. Other Welsh artists/celebrities on the single include, Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Sheen, Jonathan Pryce, Aled Jones,
Joe Calzaghe, Matthew Rhys, Dennis O'Neil, Wynne Evans and many more.

As well as being a successful solo artist in his own right Darren has written songs and produced for other artists such as Andrew Mark Jones
("Hit You In The Heart"), Nina Jones ("Never Let You Go", "Promises") and Lee Gilbert ("Soar"). Darren has co-written with renowned songwriters

Potts etc.). Darren's songs have featured many times on BBC radio, SKY TV,

He is diverse a singer/songwriter as he is prolific, having written songs that continue to appear on...Country radio, Pop radio, R&B radio, Rock radio, AC radio, AOR radio, Soul radio, Easy Listening, EDM radio and more!

No Fool!", is set to be released on Kirsten's forthcoming album which is called 'Songbird' and is set to be released in July through Thoroughbred
Records.
