Pegi Young & The Survivors Set Out On Next Leg Of National Tour In Support Of New Album Raw
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Earlier this year, Pegi Young & The Survivors released Raw, a moving collection of songs about love, loss and forgiveness. The album received accolades from all corners of the media spectrum. NPR Music called the album "a searching, tough and vulnerable memoir that bravely explores all the corners of heartbreak, from blunt-force anger to sorrow to brief winks of humor."
The album is now available for streaming and purchase via all major retailers.

Entertainment Weekly shared the video for "Trying To Live My Life Without You," and Rolling Stone announced the album with a detailed featurby acclaimed journalist David Browne. Pegi Young & The Survivors also performed live in studio for sessions with both Paste and Relix Magazines.

Young and her all-star band of Muscle Shoals-based musicians; guitarist Kelvin Holly (a veteran of Little Richard's band), drummer Phil Jones (Tom Petty, Joe Walsh), living legend Spooner Oldham and bassist Shonna Tucker (Drive-By Truckers) will be performing across the country this Fall in support of Raw.

The tour kicks off on September 16th in Denton, Texas and continues through October 2nd in Baton Rouge with more dates to come. Find a full list of tour dates below.

"I'm so excited to be out on the road again with The Survivors and hitting some cities we've not been to for a while." Young says, "We're looking forward to playing some of the new album and of course we always throw in a few surprises. Come on down and bring yer dancin' shoes!"

Randy Lewis of The Los Angeles Times premiered the album in its entirety. "I hope that others who have gone through loss, who have gone through heartbreak — be it divorce, death or other forms of loss — will be able to connect with it," Young told the Times. "I'm not the only one to go through late-in-life divorce; I'm not the only one to suffer a major heartbreak. And I won't be the last."
