New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising country singer, Jake McVey, honors our country's first responders with the video for his latest single "Never Give Up." The inspirational anthem penned by McVey is brought to life with the music video, already exceeding hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of shares on social media in a couple weeks.

In the music video, McVey plays a widowed firemantrying to make ends meet and not lose his family's farm. The video was directed by Relyent Entertainment's Louis Police, who has been a volunteer for the Kentucky Department of Emergency Rescue for 20 years. The video was shot with first responders from the Fire, Police and EMT departments of Richmond, Kentucky.

"These brave men and women appreciated being part of a video honoring them by shedding a small light on the risk and sacrifice they face everyday on the job. Just as it is in big cities such as New York or Houston these small towns like Richmond, Kentucky, first responder's jobs are terribly dangerous," states McVey. "We have seen time and time again how much these courageous people do to keep us safe. It was my honor to do this video with and for them. If I've learned anything this year, it's that you just have to keep going. Through the good and the bad, you have to find what keeps you moving and just 'never give up."

McVey goes a step further by offering all first responders FREE admittance to any show he performs in 2017 (visit jakemcvey.com for details). McVey dedicates the video to all of our country's first responders in hopes that they, too, will be inspired to push on and "Never Give Up."

When times are tough and you're out of luck
And you're barely pullin through
Do you wanna quit? Yeah, you're over it
I got somethin to say to you
Never never never never never give up
(K. Gravitt, J. Scherer & J. McVey)

"I'm just a good Iowa boy who likes to work hard," McVey says with a grin. "I was brought up with a great work ethic. I was raised that when the sun is shining, it's time to make hay. That's just who I am. I love to work."
