Windwalker and the MCW, the San Diego-based traditional Native American Drum Performance Group that showcases traditional drumming and spiritual Native American Flute, received their GRAMMY Award-nomination in the 'Best Regional Roots Music Album' category for their album "Generations" at the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2015. In 2011, Windwalker and the MCW won an Indian Summer Music Award in the "Best Spiritual Song" category "Grandfather" off of the album entitled, "Ancient Winds". "Grandfather" also received the 2010 Native American Music Award for "Best Single Song" recording. And, "Amazing Grace" off of the "Lenape Spirits" album won the 2009 Native American Music Award for "Best Gospel Inspirational" recording.

"We're doing whatever we can to help" states Windwalker Dorn of Windwalker and the MCW. "Lynda Yraceburu encourages the community to 'come out and celebrate Helping Hooves with us'. This Music does have a mission, and you can be part of it too!"

Windwalker, a delightfully gracious and animated woman who provides a sense of serenity everywhere she goes, whose vocabulary is sprinkled with humor and a tremendous spirituality steeped in Native American culture, promotes positive health and wellbeing by embracing Native teachings with stories and legends that bring about positive behaviors in every person she meets. She is of Mi'kmaq, Eastern Cherokee, and Lenni-Lenape descent. 'She Who Walks With the Wind', is a traditional and generational Native American Healer/Shaman, drummer of the mother drum, keeper of the traditional songs, flutist, traditional story-teller, singer/song-writer, peace rights activist, environmental consciousness activist, women's/children's/veteran's/animal's rights activist, as well as a water-healer (inside and out). Through native diets and herbs, manipulative therapies, ceremonies that greet the seasons and the harvests, and through spirituality and prayer she promotes health by living in harmony with the earth..."walk in beauty". A genuine love and compassion for others is palpable when in her presence. Windwalker teaches the importance of understanding and helping to better Earth Mother by also conducting ceremonies at all bodies of water. It is through her Workshops that she passes on ancient ways for many generations to come. She is GRAMMY Award-nominated for the traditional songs she plays and multi-award-winning for all four of the albums she's released. She is a mother, sister, and friend, and full of love, honor, and respect.

"We had an amazing BlessingWay Day with Windwalker and the MCW back in May when we blessed the ranch" said Lynda Yraceburu, Gypsy Healer & co-founder of YEW. "We were thrilled by the performance they offered and with how hard they have worked to bring compassion and love to causes of deep need."
