'Despacito' Co-Writer Erika Ender Nominated For Two Latin Grammys
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As featured in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Huffington Post, Vibe and more, Erika Ender has been nominated for Song of the Year with "Despacito" and Best Singer-Songwriter Album with her fifth studio album "Tatuajes" at this year's Latin Grammy Awards. Last year, Ender took home the award for Best Regional Song with "Ataúd", which she co-wrote with Manu Moreno and Mónica Vélez for Los Tigres del Norte, illustrating the wide range of genres in which Ender has achieved huge successes.

Earlier this month, Erika Ender joined other global leaders and activists at the Social Good Summit, put on by Mashable and the United Nations, to discuss ways to improve the world by 2030. Ender spoke to moderator and MSNBC correspondent Mariana Atencio about how she gives back through the power of music and closed her session with a moving performance of "Por Qué?", about a young boy abandoned by society, and "Todos Somos Iguales", which celebrates the diversity that brings us together.

Erika is now tied with Mariah Carey as the female songwriter with the longest-running No. 1 hit of all time. She's now also the first female songwriter to have a Spanish-language song top Billboard's "Hot 100" chart.

In October, Ender will be inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, where she stands out as the only woman in her category, and the youngest in history to ever be inducted. To date, Ender has released five studio albums, and songs that she has written are included in more than 160 albums. At least 40 singles penned by Ender, have reached the top of the charts throughout the world.

Ender has been the winner of the industry's most important awards, including the Latin GRAMMY, Latin Billboard, Monitor Latino, SESAC, ASCAP, among other awards and nominations.
