Internet Video Archive Makes Adding Movie Showtimes And Ticketing Easy For Publishers
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As more movie sites are being consolidated under big brands, online publishers may feel that it is easier to concede their users interest in movies to those brands. Internet Video Archive (IVA) offers publishers a way to keep that traffic on their site and add everything their users need to follow movie and TV content throughout its life cycle.

IVA has recently added movie showtimes and ticketing for over 24,000 screens in North America to its Entertainment Express APIs. By using Entertainment Express APIs, online publishers and app developers can easily access theatrical movie showtimes and ticketing in addition to metadata, movie posters, photos, ratings, celebrity data, trailers and clips.

IVA clients will be able to help their users quickly find what times a movie is showing at theatres near them based on their users' geo-location and also include important details about a theatre such as its address, seating, audio, and accessibility. Adding showtimes and ticketing is free to IVA clients as part of their metadata packages that start as low as $250 a month.

"Over 1.2 billion domestic movie tickets were sold last year. By integrating Entertainment Express APIs, publishers can capitalize on the universal interest in movie discovery. With upcoming releases such as Thor: Ragnarok and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, publishers can provide their users everything they need to find the movie they want to see, the nearest theatre, showtimes by screen and purchase tickets for these upcoming blockbusters. Adding movie showtime data to your website or app will increase user engagement metrics across the board and help publishers compete," says Rhodes Mason, president of IVA.
