New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Cardi B's engineer Michael Ashby posted an image to his Instagram story of a track with the words "Cardi B" and "Beyoncé" in the title. On top of the image Ashby wrote "this feature is big," adding the 100 and peeping eye emojis. If it's what we've been praying for, then a collab between our two favorite Queen B's could be appearing on Cardi's forthcoming project. Under the story, Ashby added: "Wow this feature is big."
Cardi met up with Beyoncé and JAY-Z at the Made in America festival back in September, but has been guarded about their talks. "They just said hi," she told "The Breakfast Club." "No, they said a lot of other beautiful stuff. I don't want to air stuff like that out, but I met her. I met Beyoncé, y'all! It was real. It wasn't Photoshopped!"
During an interview with the Associated Press, Bardi added: "I'm surprised Beyoncé liked me. Ah! I met Beyoncé!"
Cardi also reflected on the "pressure" surrounding her debut album. "I'm a little nervous to put the project out but I think it's gonna do pretty good," she said. "It's a lot of pressure on me. Everybody is waiting to see what I'm gonna have next and it's like, I hope people love it. But I have confidence. I'm really good."
The Beyoncé collaboration could end up on Cardi's forthcoming debut album, which was initially set for release this month. It has since been pushed back.
