Slowkiss Releases Ultraviolet EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Buzzworthy alt-punk band SLOWKISS offers their second EP entitled Ultraviolet today. It follows the well-received single "Pink Death" which was independently released in June, garnering radio support in the U.S. from tastemaker Alternative radio outlets including KROQ, KLOS, KCRW, and KCSN in Los Angeles and 91X in San Diego (among others).

SLOWKISS, based in Santiago, Chile, recorded the Ultraviolet EP in Los Angeles, where they've been spending most of their time as of late. After a very successful series of showcases at SXSW 2017, the band embarked on their first tour of the U.S. in the spring, finding success in Southern California venues including The Viper Room in Los Angeles and The Casbah in San Diego.

Drawing influences from '90s alternative stalwarts including Sonic Youth and Smashing Pumpkins as well as The Distillers and Violent Soho, Soundsphere Magazine says of the Ultraviolet EP, "This is Riot Grrrl. This is just great, pure, Alternative rock music. This is awesome."

SLOWKISS has been supporting the release of the EP with a series of dates in the southwest of the U.S. Remaining tour dates include 10/30 at The Lexington in DTLA, 11/2 at Cal State Long Beach, 11/6 at the Casbah San Diego, and 11/11 at The Viper Room in Los Angeles.
