Ross has been developing his songwriting and artistry for the last three years since his move to Nashville. Among Ross's recent accomplishments, Ross was selected to be in the Association of Independent Music Publishers Songwriter's Class of 2017 with SiriusXM's Highway Finds alum Ashley McBryde.

Booked by William Morris, published by Big Deal Music Group, Ross has been touring and opening for acts like Big Machine's Brett Young.
"Being the next Highway Finds is such an honor," says Ellis, "I'm excited to get my music out and am so grateful to the fans and their incredible support!"
This EP is an intro to the dynamic artist that is Ross Ellis.

Track list:
1. "Home For The Weekend" (Ross Ellis / Scott Stepakoff / Jason Gantt)
2. "Good Old Days" (Ross Ellis / Allison Veltz / Lindsey Jackson)

Ross was born and raised in the small town of Monterey, Louisiana. At fifteen he started the band, "Wayside" with his cousin and some high school friends. The band gained a strong following through Ross' college years playing venues across Louisiana and Mississippi. After graduating from the University of Louisiana at Monroe Ross moved to Nashville. In less than a year of working part time jobs, evening writing, and playing writer's rounds, Ross caught the attention of BMI's Bradley Collins. Soon after, Ross signed to Big Deal Music Group.
Big Deal Music Group is a major independent publishing company with offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Nashville.
