Cardi B Teases New Follow-Up Song To 'Bodak Yellow'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Cardi B has previewed a brand new, untitled track in the wake of her record-breaking chart win. A possible follow-up to her number one single 'Bodak Yellow', the Bronx rapper teased an autobiographical song on Instagram Live this week.
Bardi premiered a portion of the track, which features some choice words for her enemies. "I'm trying to chill and make bangers," she raps. "Tell all these old bitches they in danger / The thing on my hip whip bitches into shape / That's what I call a fuckin' waist trainer / You gon' run up on who and do what / I think y'all got the stories screwed up."

As the song continues, Bacardi says she won't tolerate any sneak dissing. "I'm the one that's killing shit, hands down," she raps. "If you got a problem with me, say it now / I don't want to hear no sneak dissin' / Especially not from one of you weak bitches." She adds: "If it's all love, show me love then / You hating on a bitch is what it sound like."

Finally, she issues a stern warning for her opponents. "Just 'cause I've been on the road, don't mean I was on the run / And you gon' have to learn to hold your tongue or hold a gun," she rhymes. "And we all know you ain't that type / I'll smack you and the bitch that you rap like."

It's unclear where the song will land. "Knock me down nine times but I️ get up TEN," the Bronx rapper captioned the clip. In September, Cardi previewed another track, though it was never released. More recently, she teased a Spanish trap collaboration with Ozuna.

Meanwhile, Cardi continues to work on her debut album. "I got six, seven solid songs that I like," she said. "But I wonder if a month from now, I'm going to change my mind." She added: "It's not as fun to do music. My mind doesn't flow as free 'cause I have so much on my mind."
