Forbes Beyonce Highest Paid Woman In Music In 2017
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Forbes has crowned Beyonce as the highest paid woman in music with a colossal $105 million pre-tax. LEMONADE and the very lucrative "Formation Tour" added to this massive sum, which was made even more impressive by the time that Queen Bey took off while pregnant with her twins, Rumi and Sir.

Adele said "Hello" to the list, as well. Coming in second, the 25 hitmaker earned $69 million with her latest album and its accompanying tour. It was her first proper jaunt since 2011. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift placed third with $44 million. Thanks to her new album, Reputation, her total should go up even more next year.

Elsewhere, Celine Dion ($42 million) and Jennifer Lopez ($38 million) round out the top 5, followed by Dolly Parton ($37 million), Rihanna ($36 million), Britney Spears ($34 million), and Katy Perry ($33 million). Barbra Streisand comes in at No. 10 with $30 million.

The list is comprised of pre-tax income from June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017. It includes information from Nielsen SoundScan, Pollstar, and the RIAA, as well as interviews with industry insiders, but it does not include fees taken from agents, managers and lawyers.
