Jay-Z Cancels 4:44 Gig Due To 'Technical Difficulties'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jay-Z has cancelled an upcoming performance due to technical difficulties. The 47-year-old rapper was due to take to the stage in Nebraska on December 6 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln as part of his 4:44 tour.

In a statement, the Roc Nation mogul addressed the issues surrounding the cancelations. "Due to the scale of this production, we cannot get the screens up on time into the building in Nebraska," said Mr. Carter. "This tour is too important to me to do it halfway. I have to cancel the show. Same with Fresno. I respect you guys too much to take the money and run. Peace, Hov."
Refunds are available at point of purchase while Internet and phone orders are set to be canceled and refunded. The Lincoln, Neb. show was scheduled to take place Dec. 6 at Pinnacle Bank Arena, while the Fresno, Calif. show was slated for Nov. 1 at the Save Mart Center at Fresno State.

The "4:44 Tour" launched on Oct. 27 in Anaheim, Calif. with special guest Vic Mensa. Tonight, Hov will perform in his hometown of Brooklyn before continuing across North America through Dec. 21, when the tour wraps in Inglewood, Calif.
The jaunt comes in support of JAY's 13th album, 4:44. On Friday, the rapper released three cinematic videos from the album, including "Smile," "Legacy," and "Marcy Me."
