Shadows are a four piece pop rock band based in North Wales. Influenced by their favourite bands (such as The Stereophonics,
Foo Fighters and Green Day) Chasing
Shadows aim to create an upbeat and exciting sound with catchy melodies. The band members are
Sam Roberts (lead guitar and vocals), Ben Etchells-Rimmer (guitar and backing vocals), Russ Pearson (bass and backing vocals) and Chris Leonard (drums).
The band have played at The Compass, The Live Rooms, Alexanders (Chester), and headlined the DolDrum Escape project in Dolegllau all with great feedback. As well as a large number of hugely success pub and club gigs across North Wales, Chasing
Shadows have played at the O2 Academy in Liverpool (for Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds Official Aftershow Party) and were the warm up act at Venue Cymru's 'Orme Suite' for 'James' and 'The Specials' gig's there in 2016. Since then the band have played at Chester Live Festival, as well as Formby Festival to over 7,000 people.
In June (2016) Chasing
Shadows made it to London for the final round of 'Rock the House' 2016, where they finished as Runner Up.
In 2016 Chasing
Shadows released their debut LP 'Alive in Wonderland'. The LP features the singles, Pretty Thing, Crawling Back to Me, Burn and Paint Me Red. The track 'Broken', taken from the LP, recieved it's first air play from Lisa Gwilym (sitting in for Bethan Elfyn) on BBC
Radio Wales in January 2017.
Warning Signs is the new single taken from their new EP, seeing a return to their rockier roots.
