Ed Sheeran Takes Home The Christmas UK No 1 Single With "Perfect"!


New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Congratulations to Ed Sheeran, who completes his 'Perfect' year by claiming the most coveted chart accolade of the year - the UK's Official Christmas No 1.

The Official Charts Company can confirm that Perfect wins this year's festive crown with 85,000 combined sales acquired this week, split across 45,000 downloads and 6 million streams. Earlier this month, Ed released new versions of the track featuring Beyoncé and Andrea Bocelli.

In a video message to his fans, Ed told:
"Thank you very much for making Perfect Christmas Number 1. This is an actual dream come true and I'm very proud and happy. Thank you so much and have a very Merry Christmas, happy holidays and a Happy New Year."
