New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fascinated by masked artists, we believe that people express themselves differently when disguised. The idea of identity vanishes, and the real you rises when wearing a mask.
Outline Montréal has exceeded its crowdfunding goal for the Sound Reactive LED Mask with nearly 3,000 campaign backers and 29 days remaining in its Kickstarter campaign. The Sound Reactive LED Mask combines art and technology to create a mesmerizing experience for onlookers.
"We want to heighten art and music lovers' experiences at any event by combining technology, music and art," said Outline Montréal Founder Alessandro Dalpozzo. "After the success of our first Kickstarter campaign, we want to bring users new and updated features to ensure that we're providing the coolest and highest quality accessory possible. Fascinated by masked artists, we believe that people express themselves differently when disguised. The idea of identity vanishes, and the real you rises when wearing a mask."
The Sound Reactive LED Mask is powered by phosphorus ink, a material that uses minimal power, is cold to the touch and emits a glow, paired with a lithium modulator. Phosphorous ink is the same technology used in watches to light the faces. The sound responsive lithium modulator converts sound waves into programmed patterns, which creates the light on the mask. The mask also includes adjustable straps to fit any head size, a hidden cable, protective foam making the mask comfortable to wear and weighs only 2.82 ounces.
The LED mask is lightweight and foldable to easily fit in pockets or bags. To turn on the LED mask, users simply press a button on the mask behind their head. The Outline Montréal Kickstarter campaign showcases eight unique mask designs suitable for anyone's personal style.
