Legendary R&B trio En Vogue
are shooting back into view in 2018, most recently with the release of their Ne-Yo
penned single "Rocket." Today, the now-trio made up of Cindy Herron-Braggs, Terry Ellis and Rhona Bennett, have debuted the Damien
Sandoval-directed music video. The stunning visual was filmed on location in the El Mirage dry lake bed in California, and the futuristic look makes the deeply-felt lyrics comes alive.
Adding special effects to the sky the ladies perform from a mystical, otherworldly landscape with stars and planets in close view.
"It was really exciting shooting the 'Rocket' video…perfect theme to enhance the song," says founding member Cindy Herron-Braggs. "The look is futuristic meets sexy…a step into the future," says Terry. "It's such a pleasure working with a director that's not afraid to come up with a concept that's outside of the box and pays tribute to the music," adds Rhona.
