New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On February 6, 2018, Woman's Day will celebrate its 15th annual Red Dress Awards, honoring those who have made significant contributions in the fight against heart disease, the number one killer of women today. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Blondie will headline the event, held at The Appel Room at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Woman's Day is proud to partner with lead sponsor CocoaVia® and sponsors For Your Sweetheart, The Quaker Oats Company, Novartis, Rosa Regale Red Sparkling Wine, Lands' End and Lenox Tableware & Gifts for this year's event.

"We are thrilled to be celebrating this milestone 15th anniversary of the Red Dress Awards," said Susan Spencer, editor-in-chief, Woman's Day. "Congratulations to our Red Dress honorees and Live Longer & Stronger Challenge participants for raising awareness and furthering the conversation around women's heart health, a cause at the core of Woman's Day's health mission."

Woman's Day will honor the following heart health advocates: Jennifer Ashton, M.D., chief medical correspondent, ABC News and Good Morning America, and American Heart Association volunteer; Tom Colicchio and Lori Silverbush, Top Chef head judge, food policy activist, and filmmaker, social justice activist; Karen Springer, president of healthcare operations for Ascension Health, the largest nonprofit health system in the U.S.; and Fitbit, the leading global wearables brand whose vision is to make the world healthier through health and fitness experiences.

Woman's Day will also honor Icilma V. Fergus, M.D., F.A.C.C., associate professor of medicine and director of cardiovascular disparities, Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, who will receive the 2018 CocoaVia® Healthy Heart Award.

The awards ceremony will be attended by participants taking part in the fifth annual Woman's Day Live Longer & Stronger Challenge and their mentors, The Today Show nutritionist and Woman's Day columnist Joy Bauer, and experts from Mayo Clinic. These five women have turned their health around over the last eight months by making small but meaningful changes. Two of the woman, Traci Claycomb and Brittney Campbell, will reveal their progress on The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda on February 5. Neiman Marcus Last Call will dress the women on the evening of the awards to celebrate their transformations.

The 2018 Red Dress Award honorees will be featured in the March issue of Woman's Day, on newsstands February 6.
