New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Acclaimed musician, recording artist, producer, and songwriter Printz Board has released the first single for his new project Parker Lane. The song, "3 A.M.," featuring vocals from Lucy Graves can be streamed now at Hollywood Life: https://hollywoodlife.com/2018/02/08/parker-lane-3-am-printz-board-lucy-graves-listen/.

"'3 A.M.' Is The Modern Day Love Song You Won't Stop Listening To…The man who brought you 'Where Is The Love?' 'My Humps' & more, now offers a story of modern day romance with a new sound that you will obsess over." - Hollywood Life

Parker Lane's music is organic and familiar folk pop anthems with a country twist brought to life by a revolving cast of co-vocalists and guests drawn to the push-and-pull of his communal jukebox vision. An EP will be released this Spring.

"3 A.M." not only introduces Parker Lane, but the single also earmarks a new chapter for Printz - a Los Angeles-based two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning musician. With his work to date, he's quietly impacted pop music and culture from behind-the-scenes, creating a string of recognizable and renowned hits.

An integral creative force for Black Eyed Peas, he co-wrote "My Humps"—winning the 2007 GRAMMY® for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group"—and "Don't Punk with My Heart," which took home "Best Rap/Song Collaboration." He garnered BMI Songwriter Awards for co-writing the Peas' "Where Is the Love?" and "Meet Me Halfway." Simultaneously, he has produced and written for everyone from Dr. Dre, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, and Macy Gray to Selena Gomez, Keyshia Cole, and Katy Perry. In New Zealand, he garnered the TUI Award for selling the most singles in a year for "Feel Inside And Stuff" from Flight of The Conchords. Most recently, he earned a 2017 MTV VMA for producing Taboo's "Stand Up/Stand N Rock." Among other accolades, he's been acclaimed by USA Today, Interview, Baeble, Pop Crush, and many more.

Printz explains Parker Lane's sound. "Everything comes from a very genuine and heartfelt place. It's stripped-down. It's like you're sitting in my home and feeling these stories as we tell them live."

He began sketching the music for Parker Lane back in 2016. Without any pretense or planning, he picked up an acoustic guitar and simply wrote one day in Joshua Tree. Nothing would be overthought or belabored. Fueled by a gentle spark of inspiration, the music unfurled seamlessly, incorporating all of his talents and spanning trumpet, piano, guitar, singing, producing, and, beatboxing.

Parker Lane's first song "3 A.M." showcases a delicate tambourine, lithe acoustic guitars, and handclaps as Printz and Lucy duet (and debate) about the meaning of a late-night call between lovers.

Parker Lane speaks to Printz' spirit directly, "It satisfies my heart more than anything else has. I feel like it's the most important life work I've ever done."
