New York, NY (Top40 Charts) We're extremely pleased to announce the signing of alternative metal newcomers, Nereis. Originally formed in 2007 under the name Blackstar, Nereis are an alternative metal band with a heavy-rock edge. The band caught the attention of Eclipse Records after achieving over 125,000 downloads of their independently-released From the Ashes EP via free music portal, Jamendo. In 2017, the band finished recording a new full-length album entitled Turning Point, which will be released in the Summer of 2018.

"After finishing our new album, we searched for a record label that would meet our expectations," states vocalist Andrea Barchiesi. "We finally found at last, what we had been looking for, and we are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with Eclipse Records that, in my opinion does a great job with its bands. I believe that we can be an amazing team together and promote our music at its best."
For more information on Nereis, please visit them on Facebook, Twitter, or Eclipse Records.
