The Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival Adds Five New Artists To The 10-Year Anniversary Lineup
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) When we created this lineup we wanted our anniversary year to be special, so we sought the most talented, soul-shaking performers we could find.
The Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival just confirmed the addition of five talented performers to the already stacked 2018 festival lineup - adding to the list of "favorite past performers" and bringing to the stage some of Colorado's most recognized, fresh talent.

Previously announced was Portland, Oregon-based band - Fruition, legendary "Guit-Steel" guitar player - Junior Brown, all female bluegrass band - Della Mae, Trout Steak Revival, Rapidgrass, Head for the Hills and Austin's acoustic four piece, Wood & Wire.

"Every band and musician that we have chosen to be at this year's festival has brought to us a memorable moment in a past performance," stated Josh Behrman, Owner of Mountain Groove Productions. "When we created this lineup we wanted our anniversary year to be special, so we sought the most talented, soul-shaking performers we could find."

Five new performers added to this year's festival lineup include:
The Kitchen Dwellers -Montana-bred bluegrass outfit The Kitchen Dwellers are captivating fans across the country with their high-energy live performances and unique approach to traditional music that fans have dubbed "Galaxy Grass."

Ghost of Paul Revere - Recently seen on Conan, Portland's Ghost of Paul Revere is known for being rowdy pickers from the north. The Boston Globe raved that they, "create the type of music for which festivals are made."

Masontown - Front Range bluegrass and old-time group, Masontown burst onto the acoustic scene with award-winning fiddle chops and jazz-style flat picking that is both fresh and familiar. Running deep in the classical and jazz traditions this group released their debut album, "In This Time" Oct. 13, 2017.

River Arkansas - The River Arkansas is a band based in Colorado with members living all across the state from Boulder, Saguache, Trinidad and Pueblo. Including former members from Haunted Wind Chimes and Paper Bird, the band has traveled the Midwest, south and western United States as well as playing shows all across Colorado delivering their distinctive mixture of Country, Blues, Folk and Americana.

Bluegrass Offenders - Emerging talent from the Grand Valley, The Bluegrass Offenders have been playing throughout Colorado at local festivals and events since 2015. This group is known for a pure bluegrass sound with lots of hot pickin'.
