NoMBe's Debut Album 'They Might've Even Loved Me' Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) LA-based German-born electric soul phenomenon NoMBe released his debut album, 'They Might've Even Love Me' via TH3RD BRAIN Records. The collection of songs marks the highly-anticipated culmination of the Pharrell-endorsed newcomer's year-long project of releasing a new single each month.

On the buzzy, vibrant 18-track concept album, NoMBe explores and interrogates his relationships with all the women who've shaped his life, from ex's to high school crushes, to true loves, to his mother, to his god-mother, soul legend Chaka Khan. With each love song taking on a different relationship, the album is a diaristic, brutally honest collection that sees NoMBe seductive, tender, elated, heartbroken and inspired all at once.

'They Might've Even Loved Me' gives new meaning to the term "genre-bending." While "electric soul" captures the wild, Prince-like, infectious charm and energy that permeates NoMBe's music, the album defies classification, weaving together threads of classic rock and roll with electronic pop, dance music, R&B, soul and indie rock. From "hazy rap-pop" (KPCC) anthem "Summer's Gone," to sensual, electrifying rock number, "Freak Like Me", to layered electronic, psych-funk dance tune "Drama," NoMBe tells each of his riveting stories in a different sonic language.

At it's core, the body of work is a salute to women and femininity. In addition to working with an all-female creative team on the record, NoMBe tours with a 3-piece all-women band (Brittany Maccarello/ drums, Zuri Appleby/bass, and Heather Baker/guitar) reminiscent of Prince's 3RDEYGIRL band. NoMBe's feminist ethic is captured by the album opener "Man Up," which tackles men's role in the fight against gender inequality and explores the ironic contradictions of masculinity.

i-D says: "He's a feminist and an ally to the #metoo movement, and all 18 tracks on his debut album... are dedicated to the powerful women who have shaped his life."

The 14 singles out so far that have already racked up over 120 million streams, scored ten #1s on Hype Machine, and been cheered on by Stereogum, Pigeons and Plane, COMPLEX, Earmilk, Consequence of Sound and others.

NoMBe was recently featured in Berlin-based music platform COLORS performance series in collaboration with WeTransfer. The gorgeous, millennial pink, sky-blue and seafoam-hued video showcases NoMBe's red-blooded, electrifying on-stage energy as he performs "Freak Like Me."

Following on the heels of a successful run of showcases at SXSW, NoMBe will support alt-J for a pair of dates in Denver, co-headline SiriusXM's Alt Nation Advanced Placement 18-date tour alongside Mikky Ekko and Mansionair, including stops at NYC's Gramercy Theatre and Nashville's Mercy Lounge, and play a solo headlining show at LA's Troubadour on May 16.

NoMBe is managed by Jake Udell and Michael Gaertner at TH3RD BRAIN and booked by Devin Landau and Ryan Craven at Paradigm Talent Agency.
