New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Consistent hitmaker Josh Kear, a Big Yellow Dog Music writer since 2003, has scored the 13th No. 1 of his career with "Most People Are Good." The song appears on Luke Bryan's #1 Billboard 200 album 'What Makes You Country.'
"This song had me at 'most mama's outta qualify for sainthood'...Being a new mom myself, I had just enough rest to recognize that Josh Kear had just written another hit!" said Big Yellow Dog Music co-founder Carla Wallace.

Kear also co-wrote "Hungover In A Hotel Room" from 'What Makes You Country,' while his song "Woman, Amen" (written with Ross Copperman and Dierks Bentley), performed by Bentley, is fast climbing the charts and is inside the top 20 this week.

In the 15 years Josh Kear has been a Big Yellow Dog Music writer, he has won the Country Song GRAMMY three times (the only songwriter to ever do so) and won the overall Song of the Year GRAMMY in 2011 for Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now." His previous chart-topping country hits include and Bryan's "Drunk On You," Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care," Blake Shelton's "Neon Light," and Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats."
