Cardi B, Jimmy Fallon Co-Hosting The Tonight Show On April 9, 2018
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Cardi B will co-host "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon next Monday night, the first time the show has ever had two people sharing hosting duties. The Bronx bombshell will perform and speak with Jimmy, before interviewing the night's remaining guests with Fallon on Monday (April 9), Deadline reports. It's the first time the show has ever had a "co-host," according to NBC.

This will mark Bardi's third showing on "The Tonight Show." She previously appeared as a guest in December and also as a performer in September, when she did "No Limit" with G-Eazy.

It's a big month for Cardi. On Friday, she will release her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. Plus, she is set to perform on "SNL" the following day.

Cardi has been prepping for her album in spite of pregnancy rumors. This week, she unloaded her latest single, "Be Careful," and the video for "Bartier Cardi" featuring 21 Savage and a cameo from Offset.

For the season, Mr. Fallon is averaging 2.8 million viewers, a 15 percent decline versus last year. Among adults under 50, Mr. Fallon remains the leader, but his ratings in that demographic have dropped 18.8 percent. Meanwhile, his CBS competitor, Mr. Colbert, is now averaging more than a million viewers better than "The Tonight Show," an unimaginable turnaround from just two years ago. Mr. Colbert's ratings have gone up 24 percent. Mr. Kimmel at ABC is now averaging 2.3 million viewers, and has seen his viewership figures tick up 2 percent.
