New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Yamaha P-Series digital pianos have an enviable reputation for providing the perfect balance of touch and tone with modern conveniences that make them the digital pianos of choice for music retailers and customers," said Ben Harrison, marketing manager,
Digital Pianos, Yamaha.
Yamaha today unveiled the P-125 digital piano, a compact and stylish instrument featuring legendary Yamaha touch and tone, and ideal for a wide variety of beginner pianists.
The P-125 replaces the P-115, which has earned its reputation as one of the top-selling digital pianos on the market today. Immediately noticeable in the new model is its striking design, featuring a beautiful curve to the front panel that was inspired by the company's flagship CFX concert grand piano. This is complemented by a new wooden furniture stand and a 3-pedal accessory which more closely resembles the pedal lyre of a grand piano.
Smart devices are now part of everyday life, and the P-125 is keeping ahead of the curve with its own smart technology that enhances learning and enjoyment. Using the P-125 with the Yamaha Smart Pianist app for iOS devices, users gain a touch screen graphic interface to select Voices, and to configure settings quickly and easily.
The Smart Pianist app also takes advantage of the instrument's built-in USB audio and MIDI interface and on-board speaker system. This not only enables the user to play along with their favorite artists, but it also allows them to record audio and/or MIDI performances into a computer.
And how does it sound and feel? The P-125 faithfully reproduces the magnificent sound of The Yamaha CFIIIS 9-foot concert grand piano, along with the finest level of nuanced expression, thanks to 4-level Pure CF sampling and the industry leading Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard.
"Yamaha P-Series digital pianos have an enviable reputation for providing the perfect balance of touch and tone with modern conveniences that make them the digital pianos of choice for music retailers and customers," said Ben Harrison, marketing manager,
Digital Pianos, Yamaha Corporation of America. "The aspiring pianist will immediately appreciate the sound quality and smart learning features, in a user-friendly instrument that can be easily transported from the home to the cottage and eventually to a coffee house gig when they're ready."
Other key features of the P-125 include 24 instrument Voices (pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, bass and more), 20 simple drums and bass
Styles and 50 Classical
Music Masterpieces.
