New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, indie rock band Cold Fronts share their video for "Staying' In". A boisterous quip about smoking weed and ordering takeout, the track was first featured in Noisey, who called it a "perfectly formed nugget of slacker rock."
"So originally the concept for the video was just a one shot of me ripping a bong and our director warned me that it might take like 3-5 tries, but it actually took us ten. This was the tenth one. I don't recommend doing ten bong rips back to back, mostly because it just hurts your lungs. But honestly you don't need me to tell you that, you already know. Also theres a cool animation sequence that happens at the end of the video in case you get bored of me coughing and drooling on myself for a minute." - Craig Almquist

Other released tracks on the album include the title track, "Fantasy Du Jour", "Let The Record Play", "Aftermath" which premiered at Substream, and "This Always Happens" which premiered at Consequence of Sound, featuring an interview on how bands like The Cramps and Modern Lovers influenced the song.

Recorded over the course of three weeks in early 2017 in New York City, Fantasy Du Jour marks the first time the band in its current iteration fully collaborated on a body of work. Since releasing their 2015 debut Forever Whatever, the band have spent the last three years honing their sound through extensive touring with the likes of White Reaper, The Weeks, Hinds, Sunflower Bean and High Waisted, as well as subsequent group writing sessions. They've been featured in Pigeons & Planes, Nylon and Urban Outfitters who said "This is a group that can knock out raw and catchy garage-pop songs one by one."

Formed in 2010 by lead singer/guitarist Craig Almquist, the band were discovered in 2012 by Sire Records co-founder Seymour Stein while playing an impromptu show at SXSW.

To celebrate the release of Fantasy Du Jour, the band will be playing their album release show at Mercury Lounge on 4/20 with Grim Streaker and Vexxed. In May/June they'll be hitting the road with Hockey Dad.
