New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Americana singer-songwriter, RIVVRS has released his new single, "
Let It Die", the third offering from his upcoming album, Cosmic Dream. Accompanied by a forceful drum beat and eerie guitars, RIVVRS delivers the introspective lyrics with his raspy tone that many have come to love. The song's soulful nature is sure to resonate with the audience at BottleRock
Music Festival this May. The track is now available for streaming and download on digital music platforms worldwide.
According to RIVVRS nee
Brandon Zahursky, "Sometimes you let things go, other times you just let them die." This angst-tinged new single about failed love is a perfect complement to his recent releases and the exciting album to follow. "'Let it Die' was the first song I wrote with singer-songwriter, Joshua James, the co-producer of Cosmic Dream. We recorded it in 2015 and it was just so different from my first album, it didn't really fit, so I held onto it for the follow up," explains RIVVRS. "At the heart it's a break up song, but it's more so about that feeling of reaching your limit in life and you realize something needs to change." As RIVVRS puts it, "(Let It Die) quickly became one of my favorite songs to play live, and it's been a song I've played solo on tour over the last couple years, so I'm really excited to finally share the version on the record."
The Bay-Area native has certainly made a name for himself as an Americana staple with his last two singles, "
Don't Wanna Know" and "Don't Give Up On Me." As NYLON Magazine raved, "RIVVRS packs a homegrown grit that's grounded in rock and the blues and man, does he make it well." Recently, RIVVRS has earned the attention of The Huffington Post, Ones To Watch and many others as he gears up to perform at BottleRock 2018. RIVVRS is slated to perform the upcoming Napa Valley festival alongside the likes of Bruno Mars, Muse, The
Chainsmokers and more. This rising star has had over thirty song placements in films such as When We First Met, television shows including About A Boy and Bates Motel, and even commercials for Reebok, UFC and ESPN. He has also amassed over twelve million streams on Spotify alone, an impressive feat for a completely independent artist.
