New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Up and coming New York based pop artist Kara Eliza released the video for her cover of Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind" today on YouTube. Kara is currently writing her debut EP set for release this summer.
The video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Hz1xmkrzRg

Born and raised in New York, Kara Eliza became enamored with music and voice when she was a toddler. By the age of 8, she was already imitating a wide range of voice types, sounds and mature singing voices. As a teen, Kara started writing and recording her own music in her make shift recording studio at home. Her musical style has been compared to artists such as Alicia Keyes and Amy Winehouse.

Kara Eliza has performed in various venues across the United States and Europe. Through a variety of vocal performances she has highlighted her range and abilities, which span from Opera to Popular tunes to Rap. She also had the privilege to perform in Neil Berg's Night of 1000 Stars with some of Broadway's biggest stars when she was a teenager.

Currently, Kara is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she will graduate in May of 2018.
As a professionally trained classical opera singer, Kara brings a fresh, creative sound to pop. And with a 3-4 octave vocal range, the sky's the limit where her voice will lead!
