Drake Breaks Bruno Mars' Record For Most Weeks Atop Billboard Hot 100 This Decade!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ever since Drake's steady comeback of recent singles, he's been dominating the charts! As his most recent hit "Nice For What" sits on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the second week - replacing none other than his own previous single "God's Plan" - the superstar has now broken a new chart record.

The 31-year-old has notched six chart-topping hits over the course of his career dating back to 2010 when Rihanna's "What's My Name" took the No. 1 spot. Drizzy achieved the accolade as a lead artist for the first time in 2016 with "One Dance" and "Work" spending time at the top. He later returned this year with the previously mentioned "God's Plan" and "Nice For What" giving him a combined 13 weeks at No. 1 in 2018.

Bruno has had seven No 1 records of his own this decade. He made his debut when assisting B.o.B. on "Nothin' On You," followed by "Just The Way You Are," "Grenade,"When I Was Your Man," "Uptown Funk" and most recently, "That's What I Like."

Future artists will have to thanks the Toronto native and Mars for helping pave the way for hip-hop and R&B to move into the mainstream lane of consumption.
Drake will look to carry his momentum into the summer as he gears up for the release of his mysterious album Scorpio in June.
