The Kristen Ann Carr Fund Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Record Fundraising, Special Guests
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This past Saturday, April 21st, The Kristen Ann Carr Fund celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a special evening at Manhattan's Tribeca Grill. The night included a silent auction, live performances and a ceremony honoring the Carr-Marsh family and their mission to advance cancer research and treatment for adolescents and young adults with sarcoma.

Barbara Carr, Dave Marsh and Sasha Carr were this year's Honorary Chairs. Past honorees include Bruce and Patti Scialfa Springsteen, Jon and Barbara Landau, Drew Nieporant, Steven and Maureen Van Zandt and Marilyn Laverty.

Over 400 guests were in attendance including singer-songwriter, Jackson Browne; E-Street members, Roy Bittan and Steven Van Zandt; Hunger Games Producer, Jon Kilik; Springsteen manager, Jon Landau; Vector Management founder, Ken Levitan; Hard Rock CEO, Jim Allen; and music promoter Larry Magid.

The Kristen Ann Carr Fund provides grants for sarcoma cancer research and seeks to improve all aspects of cancer patient life with an emphasis on adolescents and young adults. The fund honors the life of Kristen Ann Carr, who passed away in 1993 from sarcoma in her early 20s. Established at Kristen's request, the Fund continues in her spirit and convictions in its efforts.
