New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Micah Martin may be a name that's familiar in the EDM world, having appeared as the featured vocalist on tracks with mega acts like Kayzo, but he also leads the Iowa-based hard rock band The Zealots. The quintet will be releasing their debut full-length album Only Rocks Live Forever on June 1st and today you can hear the first single "Sledge," a punishing yet melodic track that premiered with Idobi Radio.

"The title for the album comes from an old western saying 'it's not about how long you live, but how you live' and that's big for us as artists," frontman Micah Martin told Idobi. "We don't see results we would like to see sometimes or plans don't always pan out. When you live by this motto, those things don't matter. All that matters is how you react to them and how you decide to live your life moving forward."

Mastered by Cameron Mizell, "Sledge" tells a dark story of betrayal and bribery. After a brief stint of infidelity, a man attempts to use money to keep his actions a secret, but it only leads to more misfortunes.

Martin has been the featured vocalist on many different EDM tracks, three of which have over 1 million plays on Spotify. He has a steady 165,000+ monthly listeners and has racked up millions of streams on YouTube via his collaborations. He and the rest of the band have been writing music with Kayzo, who featured the band on his latest massive album Overlord, and they hope to add some rock n' roll influence to the dance culture.
Pre-order Only Rocks Live Forever on iTunes and MerchNow.
