Noah Kahan Returns With New Single "Come Down"; North American Headlining Tour Confirmed For This Fall
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As he quietly becomes an international sensation with nearly 110 million cumulative streams to his name, Vermont singer and songwriter Noah Kahan returns with his new single, "Come Down".
"Come Down" is a vividly descriptive memory of helping a new friend through a dramatic trip. The song concisely captures the spectrum of cheery nostalgia to panicked anxiety in under three minutes and is conveyed with Kahan's strikingly soulful delivery. At its heart, the modest chant showcases his songwriting acumen and knack for an undeniable hook. Clash Magazine premieres the track, hailing it as "deft of vocal and taut of arrangement, the subtle soulful feel allows Noah plenty of space to express himself."

Of the song, Kahan says, "'Come Down' is about an experience I had helping a new friend through a moment of intense anxiety. I didn't know this person well, and we were isolated for some time together, which made for a revealing and very human experience."

Kahan is set to embark on his first-ever North American headlining tour this fall, including shows in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Nashville and more. See the full list of tour dates below. Tickets will be available at www.NoahKahan.com/tour.

"Come Down" arrives hot on the heels of his global smash, "Hurt Somebody" feat. Grammy-nominated Julia Michaels. Available on his 2018 debut EP, Hurt Somebody, the song charted at #1 on Australian national radio for three weeks straight, while also charting in the Top 40 at Hot AC stateside. Its total streams are quickly nearing the 50 million-mark. Kahan made his late-night U.S. television debut performing "Hurt Somebody" on Late Night With Stephen Colbert earlier this year. As "Hurt Somebody" became an international hit, Kahan sold out venues on a headlining tour across the UK, Europe and Australia, as well as supported George Ezra and LP on their North American tours this past spring.

Growing up in Strafford, VT (pop. 1045), small town wonderment led Noah to explore songwriting early on, emulating musical influences like Paul Simon, Ben Howard and The Lumineers. Kahan writes with thought-provoking realism about self-doubt and fear, while highlighting the intricacies of relationships with an unpolished sincerity. That approach, along with his head-turning vocals, has brought Kahan a long way from Strafford in a very short amount of time. As a senior in high school, Noah's songwriting attracted the attention of world-class songwriters Dan Wilson (Adele), Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes), Chris DeStefano (Carrie Underwood), among others. Word spread quickly within the songwriting community, and it wasn't long after graduating high school that Kahan decided to defer his college acceptance to pursue a career in music, eventually straying from the 133-acre tree farm he grew up on to work with Lorde & Khalid's producer Joel Little. The two recorded six songs together including Noah's debut single, "Young Blood" which entered Spotify's US Viral Chart at #5 and has cracked over 15 million streams to date.

UPCOMING 2018 TOUR DATES:
October 14 - Montreal, QC - Petit Campus
October 16 - Toronto, ON - The Drake Underground
